How we choose our getaways
The criteria behind every listing and what “featured” does and doesn't mean.
What we look for
- A realistic two-night trip from at least one of our departure cities.
- Something that makes it suit a couple: privacy, setting, a fireplace, a walkable town, good food nearby.
- Facts we can source from the property or a reliable public record.
What we don't claim
Unless a listing says so, we have not stayed at or inspected a property. “Featured” means an editor picked it for variety, not that it won an award. Paid placements are always labeled “Sponsored.”
Unknowns
When we can't confirm an amenity, we show “Not confirmed” rather than guessing.
